A guided tour through the exhibition After the Author: Metamodernism Architecture in “too late” Capitalism with the exhibition curator Natalija Paunić, on July 30th at 6 PM at the Science and Technology Gallery.
About the exhibition: The exhibition looks at architecture from the period after the 2008 global financial crisis, an event that shook the illusions of growth and progress of humanity with capital. In the years that followed, a new generation of architects formed in an atmosphere of uncertainty: the market was collapsing, the myth of the ‘starchitecture’ figure was falling apart, along with the idea of the architect as the sole creator of meaning. Out of discourse fatigue, a new sensibility began to take shape, opening a liminal space where architecture emerges between collapse and reimagining.

Stručno vođenje kroz izložbu Posle autora: Metamodernizam Arhitektura nakon poznog kapitalizma sa kustoskinjom izložbe Natalijom Paunić, 30. jula u 18h u Galeriji nauke i tehnike.
O izložbi:Izložba sagledava arhitekturu iz perioda nakon svetske finansijske krize 2008. godine, događaja koji je uzdrmao iluzije o rastu i napretku čovečanstva uz kapital. U godinama koje su usledile, nova generacija arhitekata formirala se u atmosferi nesigurnosti: tržište se urušavalo, mit o „starchitecture” autoru se raspadao, a sa njim i ideja o figuri arhitekte kao jedinog tvorca značenja. Iz zamora diskursa, počela je da se oblikuje nova senzibilnost, otvarajući liminalan prostor u kome arhitektura nastaje između sloma i ponovnog osmišljavanja.
