On Censorship in Culture
We are continuing the series of events within the program IN PLACE of the exhibition Documents from the Inside.
Are certain cultural programs censored? What are the mechanisms of censorship and strategies of control? Who has the power to exercise censorship? How does the control over the work of individuals and institutions reflect on the quality of a community’s culture? What are the possible mechanisms of resistance and the fight against censorship?
